Recollections of life in what was then considered a tropical paradise. One of the basic collectible books on Ceylon. VG in half maroon leather over marbled boards, marbled end papers. raised spine bands and gilt decorations in bands. All plates with titled tissue guards. Top edges gilt. Silk ribbon place markers. There is some rubbing on the leather corns through to the boards , some wear at leather spine tips and also on top outside hinge. Overall a solid vg copy. VG. Item #2297
