McClellan Hall at Yale is built in his memory. He was a wealthy sportsman. The story was originally edited and printed in American magazine. After his death, family members took the entire story and all photos and prefaced it with a history of McClellan and Mynderse (his wife's) family) and had it elaborately bound and printed in an edition now estimated to be about 12 copies. The hunting party trekked to the Sheslay River region for goat and then into the Cassiars for Stone sheep, goats and other game. They collected more goats along the trip. Not far away was the George Eastman (Kodak) hunting party. The book has always been considered rare. Great collector condition. Near Fine. Item #4896
