Also with a report on the Trans-Himalayan Explorations in connections with the Great Trigonometrical Survey in India during 1879 by Major Montgomerie. 11 pp, fold out maps. Contains a further memorandum on the surveys by Montgomerie. Internally near fine. Orig wrappers are 99% complete but show chipping, closed tears, folds etc, more so on the accompanying report than on the original. Rare item, more so because both are present. VG+. Item #3420
