PP 223 to 589 are in this section. Profuse ill. This covers the extensive effort (hunting trips) made by the Museum to secure the big game animals of East Africa (Kenya and Tanzania). Messrs Cudahy, Massee, Akeley and Wells were all involved in the lengthy and successful endeavor. The thick, soft covered report is scarce and not often found in nice condition. This copy, marked advanced copy, is also stamped by the owner Carveth Wells (one of the four participants) on the cover. There is some dampstaining on the bottom of the first 20+ pages. The book is ocmplete, with substantial spine wear, so good only condition but a great association copy. Fair. Item #6072
